Cooking Light Executive Chef Billy Strynkowski writes a column for the magazine, develops recipes in the Test Kitchen and appears on television regularly. Although he has served up supper to a star-studded A-list including: two sitting presidents, Mick Jagger, Caroline Kennedy, Lance Armstrong, Serena Williams, Al Pacino, Eddie Murphy, Dr. Phil and Tiger Woods, his favorite gig is hosting Cooking Light Supper Club events around the country.
On the road with Cooking Light since 2001, Chef Billy enjoys sharing his passion for food and entertaining with readers from New York to San Jose and many points in between. He demystifies food and wine pairing and offers tips for clubs on cooking together as well as suggestions for dishes that travel well.
Chef Billy is a culinary graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I. Prior to his appointment at Cooking Light, he was the Executive Chef for Restaurant Associates at the Time Inc. headquarters in New York. During that tenure, he was the chef of the Food Village at the US Open for eight years. Chef Billy and his wife, Alisa, have their own Supper Club with five other couples in New Jersey. |
